MORNING CLASS - A favorite family book The Fourteen Bears in Summer and Winter was shared with the children. As the bear name's were listed the children nodded and compared the bears to their own families. "That's just like my little brother!"
This old book had magically, detailed illustrations and the story line spoke of independence, adventure and getting along with each other and one's neighbours: A real treasure.

AFTERNOON CLASS - Dressed in university formal attire, Dr. Christina Rinaldi stopped by to read two books to the children before attending Convocation for the graduating Education Students.
The children thought her cap was "silly" and the books fabulous. Dinosaur Stomp told of dinosaurs preparing for a dance party. Where the Wild Things Are descibed a young child's adventure into a pretend world where monsters befriend him.
For the past two years, the JK families have been invited to participate in Dr. Rinaldi's research that is studying how parenting changes as children grow. Dr. Rinaldi works in the Department of Education Psychology, and we were delighted she came to read to us!!
